13 Weeks!

Dahlia is now 13 weeks! She has mastered rolling from her side to either stomach or back. Her smile is amazing and her eyes have stayed bright blue. Dahlia is a super talker and loves to tell you all about 'it' especially in the morning. She is about 25 inches and our best guess on weight is around 13 pounds. Her hair is a very light brown and looks red in the sunshine. Plus Dahlia's hair looks like it will be curly or wavy like her Omu! Sleeping has been a bit of a challenge during the day, but at night she will sleep as much as six hours before waking up to eat!

My Little Curl

This is a side shot of the curl in the middle of my head! My mama and papa thing I am going to have curls like my Omu!

I went swimming!

I went swimming today for the first time! Mom and Dad swooshed me all around while Uncle Ben was there playing dotting uncle, licensed EMT, lifeguard and all around 'make mom not loose her mind while I am in the pool' dude. I was in for about 15 min and I think I actually enjoyed myself a little bit! Of course since I am oh-so-pasty like my mom and dad, I went at night hence my funny face with the flash!

Playing with Uncle Ben

My Uncle Ben is down visiting and we played a whole bunch! He is really funny and makes me smile all the time! We even got to hang out by the pool where he convinced mom to let me put my feet in... and I didn't seem to hate it! Whoo hoo!

Cute Dress and my Pointy ear

This is one of Daddy's favorite dresses on me! Plus this is a good picture of my one ear that has decided to grow a little pointy... they say it is because that is the side I sleep on and it will grow out but until then - it is a little Star Trek! Ha! And of course it wouldn't be a picture of me without my tongue poking out!

Fun with Photoshop

Rockin' the Exersaucer!

I figured out that if I hit the little yellow star that it makes noise! I almost laughed and a little more hand eye coordination and that yellow star will play forever! Yay me in the exersaucer!

Packin' Me Around

This is my new pack. Recommended by Dr. Sears, this was a gift from Omu and Tutu to help mom and dad have some free hand moments! I don't like it when I am all the way in there, but love how I get to see the world when I am facing out! Mom and Dad love it because it keeps their backs from hurting so much from carrying me around all day :) And it has a pocket!

Friday Night Plans

Friday night we hung out with Brad, Andrea, Caden, Kaia, Booker and Monkey (Booker and Monkey being the pups) for an awesome dinner and hilarious game of Trivial Pursuit. This is a fantastic picture of 'the Girls' (Kaia was born about 6 weeks before Dahlia on Feb. 8th) in awe of one another. You can almost see them saying to each other 'Hey! You are tiny too!' Caden is of course the most adorable older brother and pronounces Dahlia's name like a champion.

Dahlia is 10 weeks!

The is me playing today! I am 10 weeks and blab all the time (as expected with parents that are super talkers). The end comes abruptly as the vibrations of my bouncy chair makes me poop! Haha!

My big accomplishment this week is rolling over from my side all the way onto my back or over onto my tummy! Mom and Dad are trying to get this on video to share but haven't managed to capture the events. Hopefully that will be coming soon along with new pictures of nap time where I am surrounded by pillows since I am starting to be a mover and a shaker.

A Rare evening of Smiles!

This is me having a wonderful evening! I was full of smiles, attempted laughs and some QT on Dad's tummy! And yes, after Dad put my hand in his mouth, Mom washed me off :)

Daddy created an awesome play time for me today! It included my bouncy chair, my tummy time arch, two TV trays and the ottoman. I had a total blast and then took a whole hour nap! YaY play time! The video is from behind so you can see me whacking at my hanging toys!

Swing Time

This was Dahlia's first nap in her swing (just yesterday). It lasted just over 15 minutes! It is the most amount of time she has ever spent swinging.... perhaps this is a sign that some day she won't completely hate the thing!

More Sleepy Time (Mom just loves taking pics of me sleeping!)

This is me napping with my favorite polar bear. He helps me sleep and I love to play when I am awake too!

Hangin' at the Rampart

Another Sunday brunch at the Rampart. This time it was with Yia Yia and Pop. I was wearing my oh-so-stylish Classic Pooh outfit with plaid shoes and matching hat! I think Yia Yia ended up walking me around more than eating... so sad since it is the best buffet around!

Omu, Mama and Me

Just a sweet picture of me, my mama and Omu.

Yia Yia and Pop

My Yia Yia (pronounced by me as Ya Ya) and Pop (which is also what my Dad called his Grandpa too!) came to visit and we did all sorts of fun things! They both had fun ways to rock me that made of drool and sleep lots. I took them all over Las Vegas and showed them my favorite spots. Dad and Pop spent lots of time laughing at my gas! Ha ha... just like them! I will miss my Yia Yia and Pop - especially our fun trip to the Original Pancake House - a local favorite. Pop even picked out the cute pink shoes I am wearing in the bottom picture - they have a silver butterfly on the toes! Perfect to match many of my Pooh outfits.

Uncle Brice and Uncle Ben

My Uncle Brice (top picture) and Uncle Ben (bottom picture) made it into the hospital about three minutes before I was born! They drove all the way from Everett, WA just so they could be the first ones to tell me that I would do all sorts of cool stuff with them when I get bigger, but probably couldn't tell mom about the stuff since she is going to be super protective :) Good thing Mom knows all their tricks! I love them both and hope they come to see me again soon!

My Grandpa

This is my Grandpa. He has the double arm bounce down! When I came home (top picture) Mom was too afraid to carry me up the stairs to my home, so my Grandpa wrapped me up and carried me in!
